Special Notes: Historic Poole Forge is a non-profit organization and park encompassing a 26-acre site with an Ironmaster’s mansion (circa 1760’s), tenant houses, a paymaster’s house, a springhouse, lime kilns, a playground, a pavilion and an 1859 covered bridge. We have been a community park since 2005 and provide a space for historic preservation, environmental education, fishing, picnics and outdoor recreation, as well as a haven for local photographers. We are currently restoring our mansion to better host both our community events and provide a venue for outside rental events. We are seeking donation items and gift certificates from the local community for our benefit auction on Saturday, August 1st.
We are also accepting consignment items for placement in the auction.
Consignment items under $500 = 15% fee.
Consignment items over $500 = 10% fee.
All items are subjected to the discretion of the auction committee.
The proceeds from the auction will be used for a handicapped accessible bathroom and a renovated kitchen in the mansion. This year is our 10th anniversary and HPF will be hosting many activities to celebrate this milestone.
